GitLab's free Duo trial gives you access to Fable 5. Anthropic's first Mythos-class model, normally $10/$50 per million tokens at $0.

80.3% SWE-Bench Pro. 11 points ahead of the next best model. Karpathy called it "a major-version-bump-deserving step change" and he doesn't say things like that lightly.

The trick: GitLab added Fable 5 to their Duo Agent Platform across ALL tiers, including the free trial. So you get Mythos-class inference through their AI Gateway for nothing.

Setup is 4 steps:

  1. Register at gitlab.com
  2. Start the free GitLab Duo trial
  3. Fable 5 is live through their AI Gateway
  4. Done.
